Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a temporary part-time Unit Admin/Specialist for the Department of Landscape Architecture. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists in resolving routine conflicts and issues and coordinates and facilitates the implementation of administrative guidelines and procedures. Assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors with departmental administrative and procedural information. Creates informational materials and support faculty research by preparing reports and documents. Schedules and coordinates design presentations and meeting logistics for faculty, student and guest events. Provides operational support through documentation management, coordination, and records oversight. Analyzes data in a timely manner and prepare reports to support faculty needs and departmental planning. Assists with event planning and special projects including creation of seminar materials, symposium, and conference correspondence for distribution. Completes other department related work assigned.

FLSA - Nonexempt

Salary Details - $25 per hour

Position Status - Part Time

Working Hours - 19.5 hours per week

Daily Work Shift - Day

Work Arrangement - This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.

Terms of Appointment - Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly

Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
