Acute Care Technician – Telemetry – TriHealth Clinton Regional Hospital Provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse. May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed, including but not limited to stocking and clerical activities. Job Overview Assists patients under direct RN supervision, performing basic patient care tasks while maintaining competency and completing tasks within required timeframes. Seeks clarification from the nurse when uncertain. Job Responsibilities Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under RN supervision, maintaining competency for trained tasks and completing assignments on time. Maintains a safe environment, reports hazards to appropriate personnel, completes safety event reports, and complies with Infection Control policies. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and coworkers; reports patient information promptly; documents observations and tasks; works collaboratively with the health‑care team; and follows the chain of command. Performs supply, equipment, and environmental activities; reports supply or equipment issues promptly; ensures equipment is functioning and available to the next caregiver. Acknowledges personal growth needs, identifies areas for improvement, and supports organizational and unit changes. Job Requirements High school education or equivalent (minimum 2 years). Age 17 with work permit. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
