Description: The facility is committed to providing the highest clinical quality year over year. It has been recognized with a high safety grade for its achievements in protecting patients and providing safer healthcare. The facility also earned a prestigious designation for meeting rigorous nursing excellence standards. It serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care. The facility provides specialized pediatric services and has the region's busiest robotic surgery program. The Mother Baby Unit consists of private couplet rooms, with a specific nurse-to-patient ratio. Staff includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, and support staff. Equipment utilized includes pumps and bilirubin blankets/lights, with an electronic medical record system in place. Candidates without required experience in mother baby care will not be considered. Preferred candidates will have travel experience and knowledge of specific post-delivery care. Typical procedures on the unit include circumcisions. A team-oriented personality with a passion for teaching is preferred. Weekends are required, but there are no call shifts.
