Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,541 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Alameda, California. Job Details Travel Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: ASAP | Shift: 8 hours, days | 40 hours per week | Employment Type: Travel. Qualifications Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Master’s degree or higher in Speech‑Language Pathology (preferred). Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (preferred). Experience in Speech‑Language Pathology; new graduates are welcome. Other certifications or licenses applicable to this position. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Design and implement individualized therapy programs using standardized assessments. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe treatment environment. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficient PC skills. Physical stamina to remain stationary, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a professional attitude. Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and supporting procedures. Mental resilience to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and adapt to irregular activity schedules.
