Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience with pediatric or school populations preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, student assessments, and individualized interventions
• Collaborative approach—work well with teachers, support staff, and families
• For COTAs: Open to working under supervision as required by state law

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Assess functional abilities and create individualized therapy plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop and update IEP goals
• Document treatment progress accurately and timely
• Consult with educators and families to support carryover of skills in the classroom and at home
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique requirements of each student
