Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN

Orchard Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive interdisciplinary team while helping residents regain independence and achieve their highest level of function.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care
• Help residents improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
• Recommend and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and safety strategies
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and changes in condition
• Communicate resident progress and concerns to the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as needed
• Follow all facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care

Job Type: PRN Pay: $60.00$65.00 per hour, based on experience
