Helix Resources is seeking experienced Rig Welders for field welding opportunities in South Louisiana and South Dakota. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious welders with their own welding rig and the skills necessary to perform quality welds in the field.

• Perform field welding on piping, structural steel, and other metal components as required.

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.

• Perform welding repairs, installations, and modifications in accordance with project specifications.

• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all company and customer safety procedures.

• Previous experience as a Rig Welder required.

• Must have a properly equipped welding rig and reliable transportation, as required for the assignment.

• Ability to perform quality welds using the welding processes required for the project.

• Ability to read and understand welding procedures and technical drawings.

• Must provide personal welding equipment and PPE as required.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Must be able to pass any required pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

• Competitive hourly pay based on welding experience, qualifications, and testing results.

• Potential overtime depending on project requirements.

• Pay rate and work schedule will be discussed during the interview.
