It is the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Accredited by the American College of Cardiology for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The facility offers comprehensive surgical services and 24-hour emergency department services. Home health and hospice agency, advanced wound healing center, and cardiac rehabilitation center are available. There are two catheterization labs, one day surgery center, and medical and radiation oncology. Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Candidates must have required certifications prior to the start. Random drug screening will be conducted on-site. A criminal questionnaire must be completed prior to employment. The facility is located near parks and trails that provide picturesque views. It features historical architecture, boutiques, art galleries, and museums. The atmosphere is characterized by small-town charm with city offerings. Patient population mostly consists of adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include pulmonary embolism, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and motor vehicle accident trauma. The equipment used includes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice. Electronic health records are managed using Meditech. The environment promotes team players with positive attitudes. Dress code allows any scrub color, but jeans and leggings are not permitted.
