Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer

This is a remote work opportunity. Key duties include integrating and analyzing the design of the Launch Support Systems Two suite of hardware and software, including the Launch Support Equipment (LSE)2, Ordnance Safing Device (OSD), Ground Safing Device (GSD) 2, Ground Electronics Checkout Systems (GECOS2), and Launch Emulator and Boost Vehicle Simulator (LEBVS2) in support of the Ground Systems Critical Design Reviews (CDR). Conduct electrical circuit analysis, report detailed electrical findings and assessment, and review Ground Electronics Checkout Systems (GECOS2) Wiring and Cable Diagrams in support of prototype builds and final release drawings. Support program meetings and reviews, including, but not limited to: LSS 2 development team working meetings, requirements development meetings, design layout meetings, and technical interchange meetings.

Required skills, experience, and education include 10 or more years of experience supporting large engineering programs. Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Experience supporting defense-related ground systems programs. Familiarity with UG/NX Design Software applications. Bachelor's degree. Desired skills, experience, and education include active secret security clearance.
