Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a highly motivated General Laborer for our Laser Cutting department.

Position Summary:

The General Labor's role can vary with each assigned task. They will use various tools and techniques to support their assigned department. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers' needs are consistently met, promoting our company's continued strong national growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Internal Relationships: All Departments

External Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers

Job Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the department lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations.
• Follow instructions during the operation process.
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand measuring devices, i.e. a tape measure
• Must be able to operate a grinder.
• Experience with high power tools (i.e. impacts, wrenches, etc.)
• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.

Environment/Physical Requirements With Or Without Accommodation:

This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
