Maintenance Director

Maintenance DirectorWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility and equipment are in good working condition and meet safety standards.Responsibilities:- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment- Ensure Life Safety Code regulations are in compliance- Ensure that fire protection and prevention programs are maintained by department personnel in accordance with our fire safety policies and procedures- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards- Develop and manage maintenance budgets- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations- Identify and implement cost-saving measures- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs- Ensure OSHA standards are metIf you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for maintenance management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, or certification preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management- Previous maintenance experience in long term care facility, hospital, hotel, apartment, or office building preferred- Strong leadership and management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards- Ability to develop and manage budgets- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
