Tennis Pro Shop Associate

Sell tennis merchandise in the pro shop. Maintain the pro shop and court assignments.

Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operations, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.

Answer phones and take messages

Book tennis lessons and cancel lessons

Sign up members for courts

Charge members for purchases

Process checks and credit cards

Clean doors and counters

Organize apparel and shoes

Sign up members for tennis tournaments

Write up special orders for members

Service: help members with apparel, rackets, shoes, etc.

Write up information for restringing rackets

Sign up children for the fall/spring/summer tennis programs

Talk to members about rackets, strings, shoes and apparel

Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Assistant Pro Shop Manager and/or Pro Shop Manager.

Education High School Diploma or GED (unless currently enrolled in High School), CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
