Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care. The nurse will be responsible for managing labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care in a Level II nursery environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide newborn care in the Level II nursery, including feeding, assessments, and safety monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Prepare and assist in surgical procedures such as C-sections in the operating suite.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license.
• At least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and ACLS.
• Demonstrate competence in both labor/delivery and nursery/Couple Care settings.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 10-bed LDRP environment with Level II nursery.
• Able to work 3-12 hour night shifts, with potential for EOW rotation.
