LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Logistics Coordinator Provides support to the supply chain activities. Responsible for receiving, distribution, and inventory tasks. Also prepares shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork with precision and accuracy. Reports directly to the Logistics Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain inventory levels; process inbound/outbound moves and data within SAP; conduct cycle count audits for parts and finished goods; coordinate with 3PL on inventory movements. Order Processing : Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery; coordinate with logistics partners to track shipments and resolve issues; communicate order status to stakeholders; manage quotations of LTL & FTL shipments. Shipping and Receiving : Arrange outgoing shipments, select carriers, and schedule pickups; receive and inspect incoming shipments; update shipping and receiving records in the system. Documentation and Compliance : Prepare shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork; ensure regulatory compliance; maintain accurate records; maintain carrier quotes, performance scorecards, and KPI spreadsheets. Customer Service : Serve as a point of contact for inquiries about order status, shipping information, and product availability; address customer concerns professionally. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements. Accepts other responsibilities as requested by the Logistics Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain/logistics with 3–4 years of experience and a two‑year degree in Administrative Support or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in administrative support, or equivalent real‑world logistics coordinator experience. Computer proficiency; intermediate experience with MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with modern ERP systems for MRP execution, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution. Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills managing email requests while maintaining professionalism. Ability to work independently on projects.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Language Skills – Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish a plus. Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts. Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Physical Demands & Weight Limitations – Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, use arms, hands, and fingers; ability to hear. Vision Requirements – Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment – Quiet office conditions; moderate noise in warehouse area when needed. Personal Protective Equipment – Ability to wear safety glasses and other PPE as required.
