Technical PurchaserOur client seeks a Technical Purchaser to join the recent expansion of the manufacturing operation based in Auburn, AL. This role is responsible for coordinating all processes and activities related to sourcing, purchasing and supply chain for the U.S. subsidiary. The position is an in-person role in Auburn.Primary Responsibilities:Development supplier network for manufacturing operation including suppliers for raw materials, semi-finished parts and consumables.Develop and follow process for Requests for Quotations (RFQ) to solicit multiple bids according to relevant criteria from engineering, operations, and production personnel.Compare and evaluate suppliers' quotes; seek cost-savings negotiation opportunities.
