End date: 08/01/2026.Location: 2400 Hospital Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111Start Date: 05/04/2026End Date: 08/01/2026Shift: 12H NightsHours/Week: 36Employment Type: Contract, TemporaryLicenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care; recent ICU or step-down unit strongly preferredPay & BenefitsPay Rate: $50.25/hourBenefits Include:Competitive pay packagesWeekly pay via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick time per state, federal, and local lawsLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicableWhat You'll DoProvide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the PCU, managing complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-procedure admissions (heart cath, aortogram)Monitor patient status, conduct assessments, and document findings accurately in EMRAdminister medications and treatments, including IV drips (Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin)Manage invasive lines such as CVLs, arterial lines, Foley catheters, and NG/PEG tube feedingsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT, hospitalists, OT, PT, and ST to ensure optimal patient outcomesLead patient care activities within RN-to-patient ratios of 1:3, supporting a fast-paced, acute environmentMaintain compliance with hospital policies, including passing an EKG competency exam and adhering to safety and professionalism standardsFloat across units, including stroke and medical-surgical, as neededParticipate in hospital orientation and ongoing professional developmentWhat You NeedValid RN license in Louisiana or Compact StateMinimum 2 years of relevant acute care nurse experienceBLS, ACLS, NIHSS certificationsAbility to pass EKG competency examStrong clinical skills, critical thinking, and adaptabilityExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbout the Assignment Join a 240-bed hospital in Bossier City, LA, providing care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
