The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $32.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors which vary according to position. Factors may include: educational and professional background, work experience, and overall qualifications. HMDA SPECIALIST POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Responsible for the documentation and tracking of Bank information to meet the requirements of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA); ensures HMDA worksheets, loan documentation and files are complete, accurate and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; will assist with procedure development within the lending area, as needed.

HMDA SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in coordinating and supporting the bank’s HMDA reporting and documentation processes
• Ensure HMDA data collection is accurate and complete; loan documentation is accurate and compliant, ensuring that all applicable regulations are met
• Assist in the development and maintenance of lending procedures and resources
• Assist in the review and coordinating of bank’s lending denial process; ensure appropriate denials are recorded for HMDA reporting
• Assist in various consumer lending tracking and reporting
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and the Bank’s policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act
• Maintain continuing education related to regulatory standards

HMDA SPECIALIST EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or financial industry experience
• Experience in lending and/or HMDA policy and procedures preferred
