Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) (C122)
Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience (C158)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behavior within the retail environment.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate relevant observations with management, team members, and/or responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
