Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse - CVICU RN - Night ShiftLocation: Great Falls, MTAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Night ShiftJob Description: The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse will provide exceptional care to immediate post-operative open heart patients in a 10-bed ICU unit. This role demands recent experience in open heart recovery and the ability to assess and manage critical cardiac conditions effectively. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a CVICU setting.Operate advanced medical equipment, including central lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support systems.Conduct skilled assessments to intervene in potential deteriorating conditions.Assist in discharge planning and coordination of care from admission to discharge.Act as a clinical leader, guiding and mentoring junior staff members.Recognize and respond to critical emergencies within the cardiac patient population.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent State of Montana RN Licensure.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.Recent critical care nursing experience, particularly in CVICU settings.Proficiency in advanced nursing principles and cardiac telemetry.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
