MEP Recruiter - (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking an MEP Recruiter (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).Overview:We are seeking a results-driven Recruiter with proven high-volume agency experience and a strong background in recruiting for General Contractors (GCs) and mission-critical construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical scopes, along with experience recruiting across industrial, commercial, and MEP trades. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across a range of technical and field-based roles, from sourcing and outreach to offer negotiation. This role requires someone who can build strong pipelines, develop trusted relationships with hiring managers, and move fast to fill urgent, high-impact roles in the data center construction industry.Duties Include:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for construction, engineering, and project-based roles across the U.S.
• Proactively source and engage talent through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and niche industry networks
• Qualify candidates through resume screening and interviews, assessing for technical fit and site-readiness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and business stakeholders
• Drive recruitment campaigns for project-specific staffing efforts
• Own the offer and negotiation process in collaboration with leadership
• Maintain candidate records and pipelines in the ATS with attention to detail and compliance

Skills

• 3+ years of high-volume agency recruiting experience, preferably in an agency or high-volume/staffing environment
• Proven track record recruiting in construction, mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or MEP-related sectors
• Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting strategies
• Strong sourcing skills using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other proactive outreach strategies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills-you know how to build trust fast
• Experience managing fast-paced requisitions and meeting aggressive hiring goals
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and CRM tools

Preferred:

• Experience recruiting for hyperscale data center projects or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with construction safety certifications and trades licensure (OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, Journeyman licenses, etc.)
• Previous experience working with Veteran hiring programs or diverse workforce initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
