Urgent Need Lead Google SecOps Engineer (Cloud Security Specialist)

We are seeking a Lead Google SecOps Engineer to support the implementation and operationalization of a cloud-native Security Operations (SecOps) platform for a federal client. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Google Security Operations (SecOps) Enterprise Plus platform.
• Develop SecOps tenant architecture, deployment strategy, and integration approach.
• Oversee ingestion of security telemetry from enterprise sources including Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, AWS GovCloud, and on-premises systems.
• Validate log ingestion pipelines and parser coverage across supported log sources.
• Provide technical leadership across SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, and security analytics capabilities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity stakeholders, engineers, and government teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support Zero Trust security architecture alignment and operational transition activities.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and implementation guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing and implementing enterprise SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle) or equivalent SIEM platforms.
• Experience with cloud security architecture and federal cybersecurity environments.
• Experience integrating identity, cloud, endpoint, and network security telemetry.
• Strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, and security operations processes.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP, FISMA, or other federal security requirements preferred.
