SUMMARY

The primary purpose of a General Carpenter is to provide our customers with high quality installations and service for the products we sell. This is a year-round position, reporting to the Director of Resort Operations.

Regular business hours (Monday through Saturday, 7AM-5PM) are typical. This position may require evening and weekend hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs, fabricates, repairs structures or fixtures such as windows, moldings, doors, cabinetry, flooring and drywall
• Preps and finishes surfaces such as wood and drywall
• Must have analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read residential blueprints
• Requires working in indoor and outdoor environments
• Must have an outgoing personality with a strong commitment to customer service and to Knoebel Lumber Installations
• Knowledge and proficiency with hand/power tools
• Assumes other duties as needed and as workload dictates

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the general construction field and be willing to be part of a team.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
