Experienced Title Clerk

Cadillac of New Orleans is seeking an experienced Title Clerk to join our team in Metairie, LA. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with dealership title experience who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. RESPONSIBILITIES Process vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation accurately and efficiently Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork to the appropriate agencies Process title work for new, used, and wholesale vehicle transactions Verify all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly executed Maintain accurate title records and filing systems Track outstanding titles and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation Work closely with the Accounting, Sales, and Finance departments to resolve title issues Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations Handle title corrections, duplicate titles, liens, and other title-related matters Perform other duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS Strong knowledge of vehicle title and registration procedures Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong computer and communication skills Professional and dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, MVR, drug screening, and physical.
