Labor And Delivery Nurse

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. This department provides labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) services. The OB Triage function is included here if performed by staff in this department. Postpartum, infant care, and ambulatory birthing centers are excluded.

Night Shift - 48 hours per week preferred, MUST have AWHONN, Advanced FHM, NRP, ACLS. Must have the ability to circulate and recover in OR and be able to float to PP couplet care.
