Pay $20/hour Location In-person, Washington, DC About the Role Ikigai Cases (ikigaicases.com) is seeking an Operations Intern to support our in-house operations during the spring season. This role is critical to ensuring customers receive their orders quickly and with the highest level of care. You will be hands‑on with the core processes that keep our business running, from packing orders to managing inventory, while working directly alongside the founders. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical, real‑world experience in e-commerce operations within a fast‑growing startup environment. About Us Ikigai Cases is a family‑owned e‑commerce business selling premium metal pill cases. Founded in December 2021 by two brothers in Washington, DC, we have grown rapidly while staying true to our mission: create exceptional pill cases and deliver outstanding customer service. We have achieved multi–seven figure annual sales, fulfilled over 40,000 orders, and are now shipping thousands of pill cases each month. We keep fulfillment in‑house to maintain our commitment to white‑glove service for every customer. Key Responsibilities Whatever the business needs Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment Track and manage inventory and supply levels Support the founders with general operational tasks Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly Requirements Currently located in Washington, DC or the DMV area (required for in‑person work at our offices on Farragut Square - metro accessible via all lines but especially the Red, Orange, and Silver lines) Able to commit to at least 10 hours per week when available, and at least 50 hours total between January 1, 2026 to May 31, 2026 .
