Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager leads and supports the Parts Distribution personnel and Warehouse operations. You will also work closely with internal and external customers to promote superior quality, safety, and service. This position functions as a working manager, balancing leadership responsibilities with direct involvement in daily operations and team tasks. The individual is expected to provide hands-on support while managing priorities, performance, and overall team success.What You Will Do in This Role:Direct the daily activities of Parts Distribution employees, including the assignment of duties to employees, operational safety, scheduling break periods, work hours, and vacations.Support the Parts Distribution employees by assisting with all aspects of the assigned inbound or outbound processes.Create and achieve, with management, a yearly plan of objectives and goals for assigned inbound or outbound processes.Maintain open communication with customers, employees, and Caterpillar by gaining feedback to identify their needs and proactively seek to support their needs.Operate forklift and hand trucks to load/unload orders, as well as transporting parts and materials to other areas within the parts warehouse.Resolve any inventory issues through appropriate company processes.Maintain the profitability levels set by management.Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
