Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, 6:50 AM–3:20 PM | On-call required: minimum 1–2 call shifts per week and one weekend of call per month | Guaranteed 32–40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams maintaining a ratio of 1 RN to 1–2 Surgical Techs
• Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems including CERNER, Omnicell, and Accudose
• Fulfill on-call obligations including a minimum of 1–2 call shifts per week and one weekend of call per month
• Support orthopedic surgical cases as a primary area of focus

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required
• Orthopedic surgical experience required
• Active WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1–March 31); medical exemption documentation accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CERNER electronic health records
• Familiarity with Omnicell or Accudose medication dispensing systems
• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital environment
