Job Description
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at our organization is on the lookout for Board Eligible/Board Certified Pulmonologists who have undergone critical care training, as well as Critical Care Physicians.
We currently have several positions available across different locations:
Pulmonary Opportunities:- Jackson Heights: Outpatient Pulmonary position with inpatient rotations at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills.
- Interventional Pulmonology: South Shore University Hospital.
- Glen Cove Hospital: 50% Critical Care, 50% Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine.
- Mather Hospital: 75% Pulmonary, 25% Critical Care.
- Huntington Hospital: 75% Pulmonary, 25% Critical Care.
- Lenox Hill Hospital: 7 days off, 7 days on, 7 PM - 7 AM.
- Huntington Hospital: 7 days off, 7 days on, 7 PM - 7 AM.
- Staten Island University Hospital: 4 PM - 8 AM, 10 shifts per month.
- North Shore University Hospital: 4 PM - 8 AM, 10 shifts per month.
Established in the 1980s, our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine has expanded to include over 125 full-time dedicated physicians across the system. Our programs are recognized both nationally and internationally for their excellence in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, and we are proud of our innovative clinical research initiatives. We offer specialized centers focusing on interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis, acute lung injury and ECMO, non-CF bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine.
