Meaningful Impact – Be at the center of a large‑scale finance transformation that directly supports a mission‑driven organization Change Leadership – Lead readiness and adoption efforts across people, processes, vendors, and technology Strategic Visibility – Partner closely with senior stakeholders, external vendors, and system implementers Balanced Hybrid Model – Enjoy flexibility while staying connected with onsite collaboration in Milwaukee Autonomy & Trust – Step into a role where your experience, judgment, and leadership truly matter Your Role & Responsibilities Serve as the connective bridge across internal teams, external vendors, and system implementation partners Lead readiness and adoption efforts for the transition to Sage Intacct, replacing MIP Fund Accounting Support the transition of fiscal operations to an external end‑to‑end (E2E) partner Translate complex financial, system, and operational discussions into clear, actionable insights Identify organizational readiness gaps and drive targeted actions to address them Establish practical mechanisms to track progress, risks, decisions, and dependencies Capture and document critical processes, institutional knowledge, and transition decisions Proactively surface and mitigate risks related to compliance, audits, reporting, and key deadlinesSupport consistent, transparent communication across stakeholders during periods of change Skills & Experience You Should Possess 8+ years of experience in organizational change management, systems transition, or operational transformation Strong background working with financial systems and finance‑adjacent operations Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate diverse personalities and communication styles Exceptional listening, synthesis, and facilitation skills Experience working with external vendors, implementation partners, and cross‑functional teams Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution Bonus Points If You Have Experience with Sage Intacct implementations or financial system replacements Exposure to grants management systems Background in highly regulated or audit‑heavy environments Experience supporting leadership transitions within finance organizations Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field Change management or project management certifications (Prosci, PMP, etc.) are a plus What We Offer At Trissential, we value expertise, adaptability, and partnership.
