Senior Manager, Business Analytics - Emerging Channels
AbbVie
Senior Manager leading market access analytics for pharmaceutical brands within AbbVie's APEX organization. Develops data-driven insights on payer opportunities and market dynamics to inform pricing, contracting, and access strategies across the domestic portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead standard and ad-hoc analytics to identify payer opportunities and threats across AbbVie's domestic portfolio
- Develop models analyzing claims data and market research to assess risks, opportunities, and market dynamics
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to brand, market access, and cross-functional leadership
- Build collaborative relationships with internal U.S. market access, sales, and marketing stakeholders
- Design and automate Power BI dashboards and advanced analytics solutions using tools like Dataiku
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- 7+ years professional experience; 4+ years marketing/sales analytics
- 2+ years pharmaceutical market access experience with health plans, PBMs, hospitals
- 2+ years SQL expertise including complex queries and performance optimization
- Strong storytelling and ability to communicate complex analyses to leadership
- Working knowledge of syndicated pharmaceutical data sources preferred
- Python or statistical programming language experience preferred
