The primary focus of this role is to support individuals coping with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

Work Environment\n

This role is designed to accommodate work from home (remote), ensuring that you balance clinical responsibilities with personal well-being. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with consistent hours throughout the week while allowing time for professional development and personal life activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat mood disorders effectively.

  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, helping them to understand treatment options and empower them with self-care strategies.

  • Continuously monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated mental health care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

  • Stay informed about cutting-edge research and developments in mood disorder treatment, enhancing your clinical expertise.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, discuss complex cases, and improve clinical practices.

  • Advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mood disorders and promoting their mental health rights within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse clientele presents opportunities to engage with patients from differing backgrounds and with unique personal histories, enhancing your skills in culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience with evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders.
  • \n
  • Strong coordination skills with other healthcare professionals, particularly psychiatrists.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and understand their diverse perspectives.

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working specifically with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
