Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform CT and X-ray exams on an overnight shift in an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department
• Serves all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• Uses GE CT scanner and Meditech EHR
• Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• No call required, though available for those interested
• Float requirement to perform X-ray as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
• ARRT registration in Radiology required
• CT registration recommended
• Kentucky radiation operator's license required if applicable
• Associate degree or higher required
• Must be able to work independently performing both CT and X-ray
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging exams across all patient populations
• Orientation held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
• Pewter gray department-colored scrubs required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic valued
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
