Google Workspace from Google Cloud is a smart, simple, and secure family of productivity apps Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Meet, Chat, and more. They are designed to simplify work and increase the productivity of teams, with real-time collaboration built in from the start. As we look toward 2026, achieving commercial success is a critical priority for Workspace, requiring an organization optimized for new problem statements, including complex pricing for AI value and deeper focus across consumer, SMB, and enterprise segments.
As the Director of Product Management for Workspace Monetization, you will lead the strategy for driving revenue growth by encouraging customer discovery and adoption across all primary segments. You will be critical to future planning and market analysis, reporting to the senior leadership within the Workspace Platform Product organization. AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet are at the forefront. Our mission is to meaningfully connect people so they can create, build, and grow together and as part of the team you can build how productivity tools should work 5-10 years into the future. You will work with model builders (Google DeepMind), work with exceptional leaders, and have the ability to impact billions of users across the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $281000 - $392000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for growth incubation, balancing short-term revenue targets with long-term global scaling.
- Engage as a trusted advisor to business leaders to understand pain points and priorities, providing transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations.
- Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales to drive product delivery success and align on commercial targets.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends, including disruptive shifts like AI integration, to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
