Schedule / Shift Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a requirement of 36 hours per week and 24 weekend hours every two weeks. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive mental health care in a dynamic environment, specializing in Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, and Addiction treatment for adult patients. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care focused on patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations for admissions and discharges. Administer medications, both emergency and regular, in accordance with treatment protocols. Utilize COWS and CIWAs for monitoring patient withdrawal symptoms. Respond effectively to CODE Blues and manage violent situations with appropriate de-escalation techniques. Document patient progress using HCS and Pyxis electronic health record systems. Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-6, ensuring personalized attention and care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Handle With Care (HWC) prior to start. Strong familiarity with emergency responses and medication administration in a mental health setting.
