Lead Maintenance Technician - Rancho Cordova

Position Overview Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician – Onsite (5 days per week, RANCHO CORDOVA office) We seek a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks across commercial properties in the Corporate Real Estate & Facilities department. Your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems will ensure that all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and safety regulations. Responsibilities Support overall operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (electrical, fire suppression, HVAC, UPS, generators) supporting two data centers and other critical spaces. Provide coverage of BMS alerts and notifications for critical infrastructure systems. Preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems and electrical power systems. Finish carpentry, painting, flooring, and door repairs. Modular furniture systems installation. Ensure vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements. Build relationships and partnerships with facilities operations and maintenance teams. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits. Accurately log completed work and materials used. Follow all safety policies and champion a safety‑first mindset. Be available for occasional weekend projects and on‑call emergencies. Qualifications 6‑8+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles. EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerants or Journeyman license highly valued. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
