About This Role:

The Children’s Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) Program Manager oversees the implementation and performance of the CMHI grant and related behavioral health initiatives supporting children, adolescents, and families. This role leads grant-funded staff, ensures compliance and achievement of program outcomes, and collaborates with clinical, operational, and community partners to improve access to care and support positive outcomes.

What You'll Do: 

• Program Oversight & Grant Management
  • Oversee implementation of CMHI grant activities, deliverables, timelines, performance measures, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and monitor program workflows, policies, procedures, and operational processes while ensuring compliance with grant requirements and organizational standards.

• Program Performance & Outcomes
  • Monitor key performance indicators, grant outcomes, quality metrics, and required reports to ensure achievement of program objectives and measurable results.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, developing corrective action plans and strategies when outcomes fall below established targets.

• Care Coordination & Community Collaboration
  • Collaborate with behavioral health providers, primary care teams, schools, community organizations, social service agencies, and other partners to strengthen coordinated care for children and families.
  • Develop community partnerships, identify service gaps, and implement solutions that improve access, engagement, and continuity of care.

• Leadership & Program Performance
  • Monitor staff productivity, program performance, and grant outcomes while identifying and addressing barriers to staff effectiveness, patient engagement, and program success.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote continuous improvement in service delivery, program operations, and overall outcomes.

• Financial Management & Sustainability
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to monitor grant expenditures, staffing allocations, resource utilization, and financial requirements.
  • Support planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of grant-funded initiatives and program expansions, including participation in audits, monitoring visits, site reviews, and program evaluations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Nursing, or related field required. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health, care management, case management, community health, social services, or related healthcare setting. 
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory, team lead, or program management experience.
