Job Title: Graphic Designer and Photographer Location: Dallas - Hospital Posting Details: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Reports to: Content Manager Status: Full-time, Exempt Overview Scottish Rite for Children is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment. The role requires a balance of creativity and execution, with a strong eye for color spaces and a proven track record of delivering from concept to final print or digital asset. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, design, and produce high‑quality publications, brochures, collateral, logos, apparel, signage, posters, and other branded materials while maintaining pristine brand standards. Prepare press‑ready files (bleeds, trims, color profiles, preflight checks) and manage large‑format production, ensuring accuracy in scale, resolution, substrate selection, and finishing specifications. Collaborate with printers and vendors to guarantee accurate execution of all deliverables; review and approve physical and digital proofs with high precision. Lead projects from initiation through final delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication within project management software. Coordinate event and campaign materials—posters, displays, environmental graphics—optimizing files for large‑format output and installation requirements. Provide digital support: photo retouching, file conversion, basic animation and web‑ready assets; create polished, on‑brand PowerPoint and presentation materials. Mentor and collaborate with team members, promoting design efficiency, quality control, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field. 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in an in‑house, agency, or production‑heavy environment. Proven expertise in print production workflows and vendor coordination. Portfolio of real‑world, printed work (not solely conceptual or student projects). Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Experience with project management tools such as Basecamp, Smartsheet, Brandfolder. Exceptional attention to detail, well‑organized files, and error‑free deliverables. Strong layout, typography, color, and brand system understanding. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work quickly without sacrificing quality. Experience with photography and photo direction (shooting or editing).
