Job Summary  

We a re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized aviation Quality Inspector to join our Product Inspection team. This role is critical in monitoring adherence to manufacturing and quality processes to ensure compliance with stringent aviation industry standards. The ideal candidate will serve as both an inspector and technical expert, passionate about process confirmation, manufacturing excellence, and operational quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. In spect in-process and completed products such as electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical subassemblies for defects.
2. Use precision measurement tools and devices to verify product specifications.
3. Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units.
4. Work from blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and inspection instructions.
5. Perform line clearances to ensure proper material handling between lots.
6. Document non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
7. Inspect vendor, subcontractor, or company parts and assemblies.Prepare and maintain quality records.Support continuous product flow by cross-training and assisting other employees.
8. Perform dimensional inspections and monitor quality using statistical process control.
9. Follow quality control requirements, safety protocols, and inspection procedu res.

Required Qualifications

1. Hi gh School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing operations within the aviation industry.
3. Ability to work any shift, overtime, and from motorized elevated platforms.
4. Proficiency in precision measurement tools and blueprint interpretation.
5. Experience performing first article inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5 years’ experience in aviation quality assurance or manufacturing engineering.
2. Strong knowledge of aviation Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems, and FOD programs.
3. Proficiency in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and quality management systems.
4. Experience with aerospace-specific tools such as SAP and MES systems.
5. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
6. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education

1. A ssociate’s degree in Aviation, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
