Unit Secretary

The primary function of this position is the admission, discharge, and transfer process of patients for the hospital, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient appointments. Schedule appointments for doctor referrals when ordered and notify insurance companies when preauthorization is needed. Assist in other duties as defined by regulation and job description.
