Certified Veterinary Technician

Southgate Animal Clinic is looking to hire a full-time certified veterinary technician. We are a busy 3-doctor practice seeking an upbeat, friendly person to help our clients. The ideal candidate has worked in the animal medical field, is detail-oriented, can multitask, and ideally has Cornerstone knowledge. Responsibilities Communicate with clients and veterinarians Document medical information Educate clients on pet care Perform venipuncture, restraint, and digital radiography Assist with surgical prep and monitoring Perform dental cleaning Conduct routine laboratory tests Lift up to 50 pounds Schedule 10-hour shift. Experience Veterinary technician experience: 1 year (required) Job Type Full-time.
