Behavioral and Mental Health Health & Wellness Care Before Crisis™ Mental Health & Wellness Fair Volunteer Team Volunteer with A Mindful Resource Inc. at our Care Before Crisis™ Mental Health & Wellness Fair on May 23, 11 AM–3 PM at West Dallas Multipurpose Center. Help with setup, check-in, resource tables, youth activities, and guest support. A Mindful Resource Inc. is looking for volunteers to support our Care Before Crisis™ Mental Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 23 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at West Dallas Multipurpose Center. This event will bring together mental health professionals, community organizations, wellness providers, speakers, youth activities, food, music, breakout sessions, and culturally aligned resources for the West Dallas community. A Mindful Resource Inc. is a trust-first, prevention-based nonprofit mental wellness organization serving Black and Brown communities in Dallas. Our mission is to create safe, welcoming pathways to mental health education, support, and care before people reach crisis. Volunteer support is needed for: Event setup and breakdown Guest check-in and registration Greeter and wayfinding support Resource table assistance Care Connections support Workshop and breakout room support Youth activity area support Vendor and speaker assistance General event support Volunteers should be dependable, welcoming, community-minded, and comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. You do not need to be a mental health professional to volunteer. We welcome students, professionals, community members, service groups, and anyone passionate about helping people access support. Why this matters: Many people in our communities delay care because of stigma, mistrust, lack of access, or not knowing where to start. This event is designed to make mental wellness feel approachable, culturally aligned, and community-centered. By volunteering, you are helping us build the front door to mental health in Dallas.
