MRI TECH - Per Diem

Job Title

Ability to work well with others in the Radiology department and other areas of the Hospital. Under the direction of the MRI Supervisor and the supervision of a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures applying a prescribed magnetic field to obtain high quality images for interpretation by a radiologist. Responsibilities

• MRI Competency for each Procedure
  • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic accurate examinations.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures, and correct use of protective Barrier equipment for injections.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or ARRT registry eligible. Must obtain within 3 months of hire.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year MRI experience required. Prior experience in ultrasound, CT, nuclear medicine, DSA, cross-sectional anatomy and computer operations is preferred.

LICENSURE

Registration by the ARRT or ARRT registry eligible, must obtain within 3 months of hire. CPR certification (BLS) required
