Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: RN License; BLS; ACLS; PALS (preferred); 2-3 years of experience in the specialty; 2-3 previous travel assignments; experience passing arms in and out for Robotics; EPIC.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a hospital setting, including scrub and circulating responsibilities.
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases such as General, ENT, eyes, ortho, neuro spine, burr holes, VP shunts, ventrics, lamis, discectomy, fusions, TLIF, ALIF, nerve stimulators, joints, shoulders, hips & knees, ORIF, scopes, sports med, podiatry, hands, open fractures, trauma, vascular procedures, pediatric surgery, emergent cases, excluding CVOR and L&D.
• Work primarily during day/evening shifts with varied start times, including 7-11, 3-11, 11-11, and overnight shifts.
• Support unit operations including case circulation, floating to outpatient surgery, and participation in on-call rotations.
• Follow Ebola policies including call response times and float requirements.
• Maintain scrubs and dress code according to unit standards.
• Complete unit/department orientation and assist in service line support and training as needed.
