Warehouse Associate
Partners Personnel has an immediate opening for a warehouse associate in South Windsor, CT opportunity to work for a large recognized automotive parts vendor in the nation! A promote from within employer, is waiting! Long term to direct hire!
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- 6AM start time 1 SPOT LEFT!
- 9AM start time
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour (shift differential)
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Material Handling, Forklift sit down and Reach Truck available!! Based on performance
Job Description
- Finding/Retrieving parts.
- Pull work orders
- Pick parts using a handheld device with an integrated barcode PDA scanner
- Pick parts, scan, and place in a 3 wheel buggy cart
- Packaging parts for delivery / or prepping
- Tag all parts properly for destination
- Accurately pull parts, inspect them for Works Orders, and putting product away
- Replenishing parts and putting away items accordingly
Requirements
- MUST HAVE Steel Toed Boots
- 1-2 years of warehouse inventory experience/ or other warehousing/distribution experience
- Experience using PDA Scanner
- Experience in Forklift, Cherry Picker and Material handling a plus (advance opportunity)
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- High School Diploma or GED required for direct hire
