Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager or Controller (DOE) to add to our team!
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting systems, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
- Prepare accurate and timely journal entries, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and payable departments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the financial output of the company.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
- Proficient in multiple ERPs + Advanced Excel skills.
