Practice Info Locally owned, state-of-the-art Orthopedic ambulatory surgery center Provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and joint replacement Offers a collegial, team oriented environment Staff members work in a care-team model Chief Anesthesiologist: Michael Fine Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $450,000 Sign-on package (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100,000 Loan repayment or training assistance program funding options are available Benefits Generous benefits package Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Weekdays only 10-hour shifts No weekends or call required Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a physician
