ER RN

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) provides immediate and skilled nursing care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. This role requires rapid assessment, stabilization, and collaboration with the healthcare team to determine the best treatment plans. The ER Nurse must work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, demonstrating strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and compassionate communication with patients and their families. Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Stabilize patients and provide critical care interventions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Maintain readiness for emergency procedures and equipment use.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain certifications relevant to emergency care.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in emergency or critical care.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in trauma care or critical care units.
• Additional certifications related to emergency nursing.
• Prior experience working in a Level 3 Emergency Room setting.

• Must be able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Shift includes day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week.
• May require flexibility to respond to emergency situations and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

• Work schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
• Shifts are assigned according to department needs and staffing requirements.
