Interventional Radiology Tech

Title: 1st Timer / IR Tech

Shift: Days 07:45–16:15 (40 hrs/week, M–F)

Alternate schedule: 36 hrs/week available as four 9-hour days

Call: 1–2 nights/week

Weekend: every 3rd–4th weekend

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience required
• Cardiac cath experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R)
• Clinical focus: IR / Vascular / EP; cardiac cath experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Scrub and/or room circulator duties
• Maintain sterile field
• Perform representative procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and others related to interventional radiology and vascular care
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 40 hours
• Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
• References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor
