Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab assessments
• Collaborate with surgeons to devise and implement customized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential support during operations, such as preparing surgical environments, ensuring patient safety, and efficiently passing instruments
• Deliver exceptional care pre- and post-surgery, involving medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and effective patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical-focused clinical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
