Garage Door Technician

We are growing our team and looking for a motivated garage door service technician to join us. As a technician, you will be in charge of installing residential and commercial garage doors as well as training others to perform these tasks. Technicians will travel to numerous job sites, and every day will be different since our company provides both service and new installations and remodels. You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis across our service areas and must have excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: • Measure openings for installation and site checks for bigger jobs • Take notes, create quotes, and make invoices using our software • Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available options • Participate in corporate meetings, and observe all of the company's procedures • Arrive at appointments within the window provided to the client • Utilize our software for notes, generating quotes, and invoicing • Be punctual for all appointments and work hard to exceed customer expectations • Take part in all workplace functions, and follow all policies and procedures • Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available options Qualifications: • Competent in the use of both power tools and hand tools • A solid understanding of electrical circuitry and connections • Skills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tape • You must have excellent customer service skills for this position • Effective communication, listening, and teamwork skills are necessary • Skills in communication, listening, and working well with others are a must • For this role, you need to have outstanding skills in providing service to customers • Comfortable with using power and hand tools • Skills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tape Compensation: $65,000+

Compensation:
$65,000 per year
